Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated June 6, 2026 · Working draft, pending legal review
undetected.gg is an open community for game modders, tinkerers, and creators. We aim to be welcoming to everyone. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets the few rules that keep it that way, and it applies to everything you post here — discussion, guides, and listings.
We don’t host files
undetected.gg hosts discussion and listings. We do not host, store, scan, or transfer mods, scripts, code, or cheats, and we do not process payments or hold funds for trades. Any exchange of files or payment happens off-platform, directly between members, at their own risk — we are not a party to those interactions and take no responsibility for them.
The principle in one line:talk, share knowledge, and connect with people all you want — just don’t use this site to steal from, scam, or harm other people.
[[ NOTE for counsel: this is a discussion/classifieds model (no file hosting, off-platform deals). Please confirm how it affects DSA Art. 6 / §230 host protection and DMCA §512/§1201 exposure, whether advertising/linking to prohibited goods still creates liability, and whether DSA Art. 30 (marketplace trader verification) applies. ]]
What’s welcome
- Discussion, guides, showcases, help, and collaboration.
- Talking about and linking to legitimate single-player / offlinecheats & trainers (the kind services like WeMod offer — modifying your own offline game).
- Listings / “looking to buy or sell” threads to connect with other members (the actual deal happens off-platform).
What’s not allowed
You must not post, list, link to, or advertise:
- Malware — viruses, RATs, or anything designed to damage devices, steal data, or gain unauthorized access.
- Stolen accounts, credentials, or stolen goods.
- Pirated or infringing content— cracked games or copyrighted assets/code you don’t have rights to (see Copyright & Takedowns).
- Scams, fraud, or phishing — including in listings.
- Online / multiplayer cheats and hacks — anything that defeats anti-cheat or gives an unfair advantage over other players in a live/online game. (Offline / single-player cheats are fine — see above.)
- Harassment, threats, doxxing, or incitement of violence or hatred.
- Attempts to breach the Service’s security, scrape it at scale, disrupt it, or impersonate others.
How we moderate (we’re a neutral host)
We do not pre-screen, rank, or endorse what members post, and we never see or handle the files involved in off-platform deals. We rely on community reports and valid legal notices; when a post or listing breaks a rule above, we remove it — based on the rule, not a judgment about anyone’s code.
Trades & listings
- You may connect with members here; complete deals off-platform.
- List accurately and honor your commitments.
- No listings for illegal, stolen, infringing, or prohibited goods.
- We hold no funds, run no escrow, and host no files — trade carefully and use feedback/reputation. We are not a party to your transactions.
Modding & third-party terms
Modifying games may be governed by the relevant publisher’s EULA or terms of service. You are responsible for ensuring your activities are lawful and permitted by the rights holder. We are not affiliated with any publisher, and we respond to valid legal complaints.
Enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may result in warnings, post/listing removal, trust-level changes, suspension, or a permanent ban. We may report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Reporting
